The 28 days after receiving refugee status are a very busy time with many tasks to complete. Our videos and guidance sheets are here to help you through it.

If you have been granted refugee status, it is important that you start immediately on completing the following tasks: applying for Universal Credit; opening a bank account; finding somewhere to live. The resources on this page will help you do everything you need to do in the 28 days after receiving refugee status.

People living in the asylum hotel in Oxford can attend our drop-in sessions at the hotel on Monday and Thursday mornings, from 10-12. Those not living in the asylum hotel can phone us on 01865 722082 for an appointment.
