Join The Story Museum and friends for a journey of hope, featuring giant puppetry, music and dance across the city of Oxford.
Little Amal is a giant 3.5 m puppet making a 8,000km journey from the the Syrian/Turkish border to the UK. To see images from Amal’s journey across Europe, visit this Guardian article.
As part of her journey, Amal will be visiting Oxford where she will be met by Alice from Through the Looking-Glass. The Walk is a celebration of cultural diversity which will tell the stories of refugees and migrants all over the world.
This outdoor event will take place across different locations including Oxford Botanic Gardens, Radcliffe Camera, Broad Street, Cornmarket and Christ Church Meadows. Explore the Amal Meets Alice page to find out how you and your family can join the event and participate with the day’s activities.
