Aiham’s story…
Aiham is a Yemeni refugee who first came to Asylum Welcome as a client. He started volunteering for Asylum Welcome in the Welcome Centre and then the Youth Service.
Aiham joined us as Fundraising Assistant in February 2022 before moving to Sanctuary Hosting as Administrator. Aiham is a pivotal member of the Asylum Welcome team, supporting Youth Service, working with our clients, with translation/interpreting, supporting the football project and speaking in schools.
Aiham is now in his final year of an Undergraduate degree in Computer Science at Oxford Brookes University, which is very exciting!
