Asylum Welcome is part of a multi-agency group supporting guests at the asylum hotel in Witney.
As a specialist in this field, Asylum Welcome is able to bring invaluable experience to the group.
In return, the local charities and services are able to support Asylum Welcome to better understand the local features and resources in the area. Asylum Welcome provides briefings for guests at the hotel on two topics: the asylum process and the UK health system.
In addition, Asylum Welcome has recently set up a new drop-in for the hotel guests in partnership with Mind in Witney (which is based at the Mind resource centre). This is, of course, in addition to the ongoing support provided by Asylum Welcome’s base in Oxford.
