All of us at Asylum Welcome would like to cordially invite you to our Annual Supporters Meeting and AGM on Tuesday 20th September from 6pm.

Many of us try to avoid AGMs! But the formal business will really be just five minutes or so at the end of the evening. The real purpose of the meeting is to give all of you, whether or not you are an official member, a fuller picture of Asylum Welcome and a chance to learn more and ask questions about what is going on.

There will be refreshments from 6pm and the meeting will start at 6.30. It will be held at the Friends Meeting House, 43 St Giles, Oxford. We will finish by 8pm.

Our Guest Speaker will be Prof Alex Betts, Director of the Refugee Studies Centre at Oxford University. He will reflect on the changing national political and policy environment and what that means for our clients. This will draw on a research project that he is undertaking with the Refugee Council.
