Many of Asylum Welcome’s clients are destitute or homeless, forbidden to work, and unable to claim benefits or National Asylum Service Support. Please help us to help them.

Who is in need?

Some of our clients are pregnant, disabled or survivors of torture. They may have had their asylum applications refused or be in the process of appealing. Others are suffering because of administrative errors or delays in the asylum application process.

One of the hardest parts of our work is dealing with destitute clients who have problems with no solutions. Asylum Welcome volunteers always provide a sympathetic ear, a cup of tea, a friendly chat and as much useful information as possible. And, with your help, we can provide a weekly bag of groceries for each destitute client.
