Asylum Welcome is run cost-efficiently almost entirely by volunteers. As an independent charity, we rely heavily on financial donations from individuals, faith groups and organisations to provide essential support for asylum seekers, refugees and immigration detainees in Oxfordshire.
Please use our fast, secure and cost-effective online donations service to donate using your credit or debit card. You can help us to plan ahead and budget wisely by giving your donation in monthly installments. Donate online: http://www.justgiving.com/asylumwelcome
Donate by cheque
Post your cheque (payable to Asylum Welcome) to Asylum Welcome, Unit 7, Newtec Place, Magdalen Road, Oxford OX4 1RE.
If you are a UK taxpayer, please download and complete our Gift Aid Form. The Government’s Gift Aid Scheme allows us to reclaim the tax you have already paid on your donation at no additional cost to you.
Tribute Funds and In Memoriam giving
If you are getting married or celebrating a special occasion, why not ask your guests to donate to Asylum Welcome instead of giving presents and flowers?
Some of our supporters choose to make a donation to Asylum Welcome in tribute to a loved one who has died. It is a special way to remember a friend or relative on an anniversary or other special date.
You could also arrange an online Tribute Fund, for example to enable family, friends and colleagues to pay tribute to their loved one by making a donation to Asylum Welcome in lieu of sending flowers to a funeral.
There are four easy steps to supporting Asylum Welcome through an online Tribute Fund:
- Create your Tribute Fund webpage – it’s easy and just takes a few minutes.
- Email your friends, family and work colleagues.
- Everyone donates online.
- The money goes straight to Asylum Welcome.

Leave a legacy in your Will
By leaving a legacy to Asylum Welcome in your Will, you are making a lasting contribution to our work. In the UK, legacies to charity are free of Inheritance Tax (IHT).
You are very welcome to contact us for a confidential and informal discussion about your interests and our funding needs. Please note that we are not able to give legal advice. We strongly recommend that you contact a solicitor or other legal adviser when making or changing your Will.
Give more money to Asylum Welcome at less cost to yourself by donating from your salary before the tax is taken out. For example, if you chose to donate £5.50 per month from your salary, it would only cost you £3.90 per month (rates subject to change). Ask your employer for details.
Thank you for your support.
