Asylum Welcome is run cost-efficiently almost entirely by volunteers.
Every donation to Asylum Welcome is multiplied by enormous leverage in kind. Asylum Welcome has a tiny professional staff of 6 full-time equivalent, but its services are delivered to refugees, whether in detention or in the community, by some 150+ devoted volunteers.
Uwe Kitzinger, Patron of Asylum Welcome
As an independent charity, we rely heavily on financial donations from individuals, faith groups and organisations to provide essential support for asylum seekers, refugees and immigration detainees in Oxfordshire.
We always welcome donations of food . We sometimes accept donations of other items such as clothing and equipment but as we have limited capacity please contact us first if you wish to make such donations.

Tribute and legacy
If you are celebrating a special occasion, why not ask your guests to donate to Asylum Welcome instead of giving presents ?
Some of our supporters choose to make a donation to Asylum Welcome in tribute to a loved one who has died. It is a special way to remember a friend or relative on an anniversary or other special date.
By leaving a legacy to Asylum Welcome in your Will, you are making a lasting contribution to our work.
You are very welcome to contact us for a confidential and informal discussion about your interests and our funding needs.
Thank you for your support.
